Alice's Tea Shoppe in downtown McKinney, TX is a tea room that offers hot tea, iced tea, high tea and afternoon tea, as well as hearty, fresh, homemade lunches, desserts and continental breakfast. The shop also offers catering for weddings, birthdays, bridal showers, baby showers, and any type of party. Free WIFI is available for diners.

This shoppe, modeled after the quaint village tea shops in England, specializes in serving quality hot and iced teas. The highly-skilled, knowledgeable, and attentive staff prides itself in providing delicious food to fit a variety of tastes and appetites. The staff also meets diners' dietary needs, by providing gluten-free or dairy free meals and avoid using other food allergens if they informed about allergies. They realize that in offering food, one size does not fit all.

The ambiance is perfect for enjoying tea and a meal. The shoppe, which opened in November 2007, is filled with a variety of vintage dining tables and Alice in Wonderland memorabilia, which owner Cyndy Long has collected since she was a child. The shoppe is also inspired by the mad tea party. The building is about 100 years old and has served as office space, antique store, and a cafe and grocery store in the early 1940s.

This shop radiates passion. Cyndy, a natural hostess who is fulfilling her lifelong dream of owning a tea shop, loves pleasing customers. She makes sure they enjoy themselves and their visit is perfect. She enjoys adding new menu items, such as her chicken salad, which developed in high school. Patrons have said it is the best chicken salad they've ever tasted. She and her staff take great pride in their work and it shows from the wonderful menu and teas to the spotless kitchen, which recently received a perfect score from the health department.
